The What’s Next process is on to its next round of engagement!
What should you expect at the Conversation on What’s Next?
On January 17, What’s Next enters its next round of public engagement with the Conversation on What’s Next workshop. The 2-hour event will cover a range of topics focused on the future of the town. Input will be gathered on topics ranging from jobs to growth to housing and beyond. There will be a range of activities including live-polling, small group discussion, and interactive displays. Refreshments will be served and a drawing for fun prizes will happen at the end of the event. Even if you have not participated in the process to date, we encourage you to attend! Make sure to RSVP today to save your spot for the workshop and so we have an idea of how many to expect. We look forward to seeing you there!
The workshop will be held from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Lilly Family Gallery at Davidson College. Participants are encouraged to arrive early and mingle with neighbors, friends, and family, find their seats, and view the interactive displays. Parking will be available in the Baker Sports Complex lot as well as along Concord Road and Main Street. Attendees are encouraged to enter the front entrance of Chambers Building that faces west/towards Main Street (see blue arrow on map below).
