Since early fall, What’s Next has engaged over 1,300 people during its series of intercept events and meetings. From chatting with patrons at Davidson Farmers Markets and college athletic events to neighborhood meetings, Christmas in Davidson, and beyond, the team worked hard to get in contact with as many people as possible while residents were out and about town. As part of this process, over 640 surveys were completed providing feedback on the town’s existing planning principles and how well Davidson has implemented them thus far. Even for an engaged community such as ours, the energy and enthusiasm shown by residents about this process is impressive! We hope to keep this momentum going and are looking forward to rolling up our sleeves with participants at the workshop in January!
